For this example, I entered the address "123rd Street, NY." Google Maps correctly assumed I meant New York City, but there are at least two places that could be "123rd Street" in New York, so the map offers up the two choices and allows me to choose.
The same thing will happen with other locations that could have multiple choices, such as "Hotels near Times Square" or "Unos Pizza, Chicago, IL." You can see all your choices on the map, so you just need to click on the destination you intended in order to get your driving directions.
