Google Squared

Definition: Google Squared is a semantic search engine that finds facts from the Internet rather than pages. The search engine is a research tool designed to compete with Wolfram|Alpha. Google Squared is a Google Labs project.

Google announced Google Squared in May of 2009 as part of their Searchology promotion, although they had not opened Google Squared to the public at the time of the announcement.
