Over the holidays, my Nexus 7 died. I don't know what happened. I didn't drop it or do anything different. One day it just no longer powered up. Dead.
That happens. I've had a few mobile devices suddenly die over the years, and usually it's not a big deal to get a replacement. The interesting thing to me is that when I called Google up, they sent me a new device. Normally companies send out refurbished devices as replacements if they don't repair the one you have, but they told me they don't repair them and never send out refurbs. They only replace broken devices with new ones.
