Definition: Wikis get their name from the Hawaiian term "wiki wiki," which means quickly. Wikis are quick ways for collaborative creation and editing of documents.

Google purchased the wiki software company JotSpot on October 31, 2006. The incorporated JotSpot into Google Sites, which is part of Google Apps.
