Wavelet

By , About.com Guide

Definition: In Google Wave, wavelets are sub conversations that have branched from a main wave. Think of a wave as a large tree that contains the entire conversation. The branches of this tree would be wavelets.

Having access to a wave does not necessarily give you access to a wavelet. It is a private conversation between the individuals with access.
