"Title Stacking"

Definition: Title stacking is a deceptive practice designed to elevate the search engine ranking of a Web page. Rather than adding a single HTML <title> tag, title stacking adds multiple tags. Web browsers will ignore the extra tags, but search engine bots may see the extra titles. Each title could then be optimized for a different keyword.

This technique is not effective with Google and is considered a dirty trick.
