Question: How Do I Get Rid of the Clock on an Android Phone?
I have a G1 phone, and I don't like the big clock on the screen. Is there a way to get rid of it?
Answer: Android phones come with a large analog clock in the middle of the screen. It takes up screen real estate. It's also redundant, since you can check the time by looking at the upper right corner of your screen. It might be useful for some users, but many find it to be pointless.
There's good news. If you don't like the big clock on your Android phone, you can remove it.

  1. Touch the clock with your finger and keep pressing down until you feel a light vibration and the clock turns red.
  2. A trash symbol will appear on the bottom of the screen.
  3. Drag the clock into the trash.

That's it. Enjoy the extra space on your phone.
