Check Your PageRank

Google considers PageRank to be a measure of how important a web page is, and pages with higher PageRank are more likely to appear first in search results. PageRank is determined by how many quality websites link to your website.

The PageRank tool on the Google Toolbar displays a green bar to represent the score on a scale of one to ten. Hover your cursor over the PageRank tool, and a tool tip will appear with the exact score.

If you have a low PageRank score, work on promoting your website. You may wish to request a link exchange with other websites.
