Definition: Searchology is a periodic Google press event where they announce big changes and new features for Google search.
As of this writing, Google has held two Searchology events.
The first was held in May of 2007. Google announced Universal Search.
The second Searchology event was in May of 2009, and Google announced Search Options, improved semantic search capabilities, and Google Squared, a semantic computational search engine.
