Definition: RSS stands for really simple syndication. It is a standardized form of XML used for syndicating Web articles. RSS is used to create feeds for many Google services, from Blogger blogs to Google News.

RSS feeds typically list items, such as articles or blog posts, with the most recent entry at the top of the page. You can subscribe to RSS feeds from Google and other sources with Google Reader.
