Google Public DNS is a Domain Name Server run by Google in an effort to speed up the time it takes to load Web pages. Google is allowing anyone to access their DNS and has provided configuration instructions for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux, but they recommend that only people comfortable with changing their computer's system settings attempt it.
