Google Music Discovery

Google Music Discovery is both a feature of Google search and a separate service. When you search for a song, lyrics, or a performer, the search results will include the ability to play songs from available partner databases.

Musician Channel Type - YouTube

Musician is one of many channel types on YouTube. It's meant for performing musicians who record their own performances and upload them to YouTube, not for someone who uploads other people's performances.

Mail Goggles is a Gmail Labs tool that gives you a sobriety check before you send Friday night emails.

Google Moderator

Google Moderator is a tool for generating useful user-submitted questions for presentations, events, and debates. Users submit questions and then other users vote each question up or down.

MyBrand is a feature of FeedBurner that lets you serve your feed from your own domain.

Google Mobile App

Google Mobile App for iPhones is a dedicated application that can be downloaded from the iPhone App Store directly from an iPhone. It can also be downloaded and installed on the iPod Touch.

Microhoo

Microhoo is a playful name for a proposed Microsoft acquisition of Yahoo!

Made for AdSense

Made for AdSense or MFA sites are Web pages created specifically around AdSense keywords. These are often poor quality sites with little or no original content. MFA sites may use content copied or "scraped" from other Web sites or content generated by computer. The goal is to make content geared towards high-paying AdSense keywords. Many MFA sites also profit from arbitrage.

Marratech

Marratech is a Swedish company that made video conferencing software. Google acquired the video conferencing software on April 19th, 2007. The acquired team of developers remains in Sweden to continue work on video conferencing tools.

Movie: is Google syntax to find local movie listings.

Mashup

A mashup is a Web site that combines content data from more than one source to create a new user experience.

Maps

Google Maps allows you to get driving directions and find local businesses and services or to zoom in and out of specific locations. Google Maps uses both satellite imagery and map data, and the interface can be clicked and dragged from within a browser window, similar to Google Earth.

Mars

Google Mars uses the Google Maps interface to show maps of the surface of Mars. You can choose from Elevation, Visible, or Infrared views of the planet’s surface. Google Mars is a Google Labs project.

Measure Map

Measure Map is a tracking tool for blogs. It can track the origin of visitors, the referring link, the number of comments, and the number of posts with visitors. Measure Map is currently not signing up any new users.

Mobile

Google Mobile provides handheld friendly content for web browsing capable phones and PDAs. Services include Google searching, Google News, and Google Maps.

Monetize

Monetize means to convert something to money. In Internet terms monetize refers to finding a way to generate income from items posted on the Web. Web sites are usually monetized by either selling ad space or creating a related product line, such as T-shirts with slogans.

Moon

Google Moon uses the Google Maps interface to show a very limited number of satellite images from the moon. The Apollo lunar landing sites are marked. The maximum zoom replaces the satellite images with a picture of cheese.
