Definition: Google Gadgets were originally extensions of Google Desktop , written both by Google and by third parties. They allow you to customize the Windows desktop with games and information utilities. Google Gadgets are also tools you can use with iGoogle and other Google tools. Many Google Gadgets are compatible with Open Social, so they can also be used on other platforms.
