If you have an Orkut account, you can easily view a map of where your friends are located around the world.
This map is actually a mashup of Orkut information and Google Maps.

Here's How:
- Log into Orkut at www.orkut.com. You must have an account. If you don't have an account, you can only obtain one by being invited by a friend with an account.
- Press the view friends button. It is located on the right-hand side of the page underneath the box labeled my friends.
- Click on the friends map link. It's towards the top middle of the page.
That's it. Your friends will be represented by an outline of a person standing on the map. You can only see friends who have listed their location in their profile and specified a country, city, and state or province.
What You Need:
- An account on Orkut
- At least one friend on Orkut who has specified their location
