iGoogle gives you immediate access to some of the most useful tools on the web. The Google web search engine is at the top of the page. Below it are what Google calls Google Gadgets. Both Google and third parties have written a wide variety of gadgets that do everything from tracking news feeds to playing games. You can pick and choose which gadgets to display and move them just by dragging and dropping.

Rather than typing in the web address http://www.google.com/ig or saving a bookmark, make iGoogle your default home page.
