Definition: Google product search is a free service that allows you to search for products for sale. Merchants can list items for sale through Google Base. There's no charge to list items.

Google Product Search results do show AdWords ads, but the ads are differentiated from regular results. Google Product Search is also offered in a mobile device friendly format.

Also Known As: Google Product Search was formerly known as Froogle. The name was a play on the words "frugal" and "Google." Google officially changed the name on April 18th, 2007.
