Google loves a good April Fool's Day prank. This joke Android app appeared on April 1, 2010. It claims to translate various animals by holding your phone up to the animal for them to bark, squeak, or peck at the phone's mic, and then your Android gives randomly selected quotes in return. In case you were wondering, no the app doesn't actually translate anything, but it is pretty funny to see how long your friends will fall for it.
If you own an Android phone, you can download the Animal Translator app from the Android Market. Happy translating!
