Definition: The Apps Status Dashboard is a tool that tells you the status of the services within Google Apps. In most cases, it applies to both the free, public version of the tool as well as the Google Apps version.
If you experience any problems accessing your Gmail, editing a Google Doc, or using any other service, check the Apps Status Dashboard first to see if there are any known issues listed. Green check marks means everything is running smoothly. Blue "i" dots mean there is an issue, and you can click on them to find out more information.
