Google is celebrating their 14th birthday on September 27th. They've certainly gone a long way from the company that only offered a search engine.
It's not really Google's birthday by most reckonings, and it's only the 14th by some measures, but I'll take any excuse for cake. Well, virtual cake. This year the doodle (that modified Google logo you see on the home page) involves chocolate cake being eaten to form the Google logo.
There are also presents. Android lovers will appreciate these sale apps for $ 0.25 each. Technically the promotion is to celebrate 25 billion app downloads, but I'll pretend it's for Google's birthday.
