Sony released an updated version of the Google TV, and I've been playing around with it for about a month. I'm not convinced that the Google TV platform will ever grow into anything wonderful at this point, but the Sony Google TV is certainly an improvement on the first version. It's more reasonably priced and has the hardware necessary for stable playback of streaming TV.
