Google announced three physical things yesterday. Project Glass, which won't hit the consumer market until 2014, the Nexus Q media streamer, and their Amazon killer Nexus 7.
The Nexus Q does have the distinction of being made and assembled in the USA, which explains some of the cost, but it still seems like a high priced niche product. The Nexus 7, on the other hand, seems like it could finally be the consumer hit Google has been seeking.
