Google introduced a lot of really cool things at I/O today. They spoke more about Project Glass and even gave attendees the chance to pre-order a pair for $1500. "Spoke about" is a bit of an understatement. They actually had a few stunt performers skydive from a blimp onto the convention center to introduce the topic. Even Sergey Brin was impressed that the stunt went off without a hitch.
Meanwhile, attendees also received a new Nexus 7 tablet, a Nexus Q, and a Galaxy Nexus phone. $750 worth of product for a $600 conference fee. That pretty much sums up one of the reasons their conference sold out within an hour of tickets going on sale.
