If you've blogged on Blogger, you'll understand why this is exciting news. There's a lot of flexibility with Blogger, but you have to be an XHTML and CSS wiz to really do much with their templates. Aside from being hard to understand and difficult to customize for non Web designers, Blogger choices for default templates haven't changed much in ages.
Things are improving. They've introduced a new feature to Blogger in Draft, the experimental area of Blogger. The new Blogger Template Designer makes it much easier to tweak Blogger and customize your blog. It's not perfect. There doesn't seem to be a simple way to upload a background or use something you've already uploaded, but you can use tons of iStockphoto.com images. You can also change the width and column layout easily, which has been lacking for a while.
And if you do know what you're doing, you can insert custom CSS as you go. You can also still tweak the template using the Edit HTML tab.
To try out the new Template Designer, log into Blogger in Draft. Go to Layout, and then pick Template Designer.

yes, it will help for anybody who want customize their template but doesn’t know about CSS and HTML. But, now it still just a few design that we can choose. So, if you want to use more design, you must look another template.
