Greetings From SIGGRAPH 2007

I'm attending SIGGRAPH 2007 right now, which is a huge trade show for the computer graphics industry. Why would I be at a computer graphics trade show? Google is here, too.

Google is much more than a search engine. Google now has graphics intensive tools, like Google Earth and SketchUp. Google is also experimenting with in-game advertising for video games, so it makes a lot of sense for Google to have a presence in trade shows attended by video game designers.

The exhibitor display isn't open until later this week, but I did see the huge Google booth right near the entrance. I can't wait to see the exhibit.
