Viacom is suing Google for copyright infringement on video sharing site YouTube. Google formerly responded to Viacom's lawsuit earlier this week by asking for a dismissal. This isn't actually surprising. Google also says that they haven't been discussing a settlement, because they're pretty confident that they'll win the case.

Meanwhile, Google is getting ready to launch "Claim Your Content," which will make it much easier for content providers to find infringing content items on YouTube.
