Google Rumors Galore

The Internet is abuzz with rumors that Google is in talks with Orange to partner for a custom Google phone. The phone would, of course, let users access lots of Google services, such as Google Web search, Google Maps, and Gmail.

The second rumor, also very plausible, is that Google is in talks to buy ThinkFree. ThinkFree is an online office suite that competes with Microsoft Office. Yes, Google has the very nice Docs & Spreadsheets, but ThinkFree is more feature rich. They also had Google Video, but that didn't stop them from purchasing YouTube.

The third rumor is that Google and NASA will announce a feature for Google Earth called iEarth on Monday, December 18. This feature will allow scientists to get atmospheric measurements from the virtual globe.
