Berkeley is the first university to have their own page on Google Video to broadcast lectures. This is a great use for Google Video, since the university wouldn't need their own streaming server, and Google Video can now be closed captioned.
I wouldn't suggest any university look at broadband streaming as the only means of content delivery, but it's certainly a great way to boost public image, rebroadcast content for student review, and supplement the content in an online course. It's also very easy to upload videos.
