New Blogger Beta

Monday August 28, 2006
Blogger users are slowly being offered the chance to migrate from their old Blogger blog to the new Blogger beta. New beta features include making private blogs, labels, integration with Google log-in, and much easier template editing.

This is really amazing news. It hits some of the things I'd really found lacking in Blogger, including the ability to post private or semi-private entries, labels (which look like the same thing as "tags" in other blogging applications), and much easier template editing. I've edited my template for other Blogger blogs, and it was far from easy.

I've double checked, and it looks like my tutorial for creating a podcast feed from Blogger will work with the new Blogger beta, too.
