Less Google Market Share?

Apparently Google's US market share slipped a percentage point to Yahoo! in July. Google is still the most popular search engine with 43.7% of all US searches. I tend to wonder if this was one of the things that precipitated Google's recent interface change. Google has a wide variety of search options, but until recently, most of them were extremely hidden. Yahoo!'s options are more immediately visible, but this also gives the Yahoo! interface a very cluttered look which can be overwhelming to some users.

At any rate, it will be interesting to see what August's results reveal.
