Are You a Google Video Star?

I don’t know how I missed this, but as of May, you can now upload your own videos to Google Video right from within your browser window. Sometimes I make small movies of my kids doing something cute that I’d like to show off. Now, rather than finding space on my web server and then hand coding files to embed it, I can just upload it to Google and embed it in my Blogger account all at once.

Here’s another nifty new feature. Say you want to link to a video, but you’re really only interested in something that happens in the middle of the video. Rather than telling everyone, “Hey, look at this video, but fast forward to about halfway through,” you can link to the exact point in time that interests you. For instance, I’d like you to check out the middle of the five hour Google Factory Tour, where they talk about Google Maps.
